"Be who God created you to be and you will set the world on fire" St. Catherine of Siena
This quote from my patron saint could be considered my philosophy of life and for teaching. I am so blessed to be a teacher at MMR. Catholic education is very important to me, as I have attended Catholic school for my entire life including Franciscan University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Language Arts Education. I have taught in Belize, Austria, and Ohio; but, teaching in my hometown is truly something special. The love that I have for my students and the joy that I have for teaching are so evident in my classroom. My hope is that this joy of teaching correlates into my students' love of learning. It is an honor and a privilege to guide my students faithfully and academically through Second Grade.
