“When we deny children these and other basic necessities, we deny them opportunities to learn” -David Berliner
I firmly believe that physical exercise and movement is essential to our children's overall health and wellbeing. Without allowing them some freedom to move and express themselves, work cohesively as peers, as well as try new things and enhance their learning through movement, we are denying them valuable opportunities to learn. I am so excited to be a part of the MMR community in this way!
I am a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School. I earned my Bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University in Rehabilitative and Human Services, and am currently halfway through the Master of Education program at Gwynedd Mercy University, where I am studying to become certified in PreK-4 education within the next year. In addition, I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Helping children learn and become more of their best selves, as well as health and fitness, are my two biggest passions. Being able to incorporate these two things is a dream for me, especially in a community as special as MMR. I look forward to watching everyone grow and have FUN throughout this school year!
