At Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School, we believe Kindergarten is an important, formative year in your child’s academic journey! The goal for our Kindergarten Program is to ignite a love of learning through a focus on the development of the whole child. Your child’s academic, social, and emotional needs create the cornerstone of our Kindergarten curriculum. Our full-day program allows for a concentration on development of reading and math skills, as well as an exploration of developmentally appropriate topics in our “Specials” classes such as Spanish, Technology, STREAM, and Art.
The Kindergarten Program at MMR follows the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools' curriculum, which provides opportunities for growth in awareness of God’s love as experienced in family, parish, and community. A more detailed description of the academic goals of our Kindergarten curriculum can be found here.
The Kindergarten day runs from 8:25 AM – 3:25 PM. Students in the Kindergarten program are eligible for our CARES Program before and/or after school for an additional fee. Please see the CARES page for more information.
