The children of the MMR School are the hope for the future. Our academic program is designed to meet the needs and demands of 21st century students. The generous support of our benefactors is a tremendous asset to our school. There are several options through which support can be provided.
Matching Gifts Program - Many companies offer their employees, spouses and retirees an opportunity to support a favorite charity, while providing a matching gift. Funds received through these programs provide a direct benefit to the students at MMR School. The Human Resources Department will offer details about their company's Matching Gift Program. Submit the appropriate matching gift form to MMR School. The Director of Advancement will assist in the processing of the required paperwork.
Adopt-a-Student Program - This program provides direct assistance to individual students and their families who encounter temporary financial problems and experience difficulty meeting expenses.
MMR Endowment Fund - Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish recognizes the essential role of Catholic education within its community. The school's Education endowment Fund exists with the intent to seek capital appreciation and be in a position to provide funding for scholarships and capital expenditures from the annual earnings. Individuals or corporations can make an investment of any amount, in cash, property or appreciated securities into this fund.
EITC Program - For corporations or businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, they may contribute under the Pennsylvania Educational Tax Credit Program (EITC). Contributions of any amount up to a maximum of $300,000 per taxable year can earn tax credits equal to 75% to 90% of the amount donated. The EITC tax credits can be used against corporate net income tax, capital stock franchise tax (and other specific corporate taxes) or personal income tax of sub-S corporation shareholders or Partnership partners. Contributions made in this manner support BLOCS Scholarships (Business Leaders Organized for Catholic Schools). To learn more about EITC and BLOCS, click here.
